A New Days And New Journey 

                                                   If I could shake the thought of flight,

I wonder if I'd sleep at night

Retire dreams of distant lands

Unearth contentment where I stand

Hang up these wings and choose to stay

Let life play out from day to day

I wonder, could you live this way?

I summit mountains in my dreams

Follow every winding stream

Then sail the world from coast to coast

and when it storms I learn to float

I see the world through changing eyes

by learning from each passerby 

I whisper secrets to the birds

who may not understand my words

but sing the sweetest melodies

and always share my company

I wonder, is this life for me?

These options fail, they're black and white

Leave all behind or give up flight

Between extremes, there is a place

where choice alone wont settle fate

Most our paths fall on these lines

Just victims to a friend called Time

So build a life and call it home

just never be afraid to roam

and don't be frightened standing still

For there's a way, if there's a will

Then hold this truth close to your heart

Each day you wake, a journey starts.
